On December 13, 2011, Christie's New York will present 80 of the most iconic jewellery pieces in the world. And on December 14, 189 additional jewels will go on sale. Of course, we are speaking of none other than the Elizabeth Taylor jewels which are said to be the most celebrated private collections ever assembled. We, like most woman, are fans/admirers/lust after the jaw dropping jewels that were given to Ms. Taylor by royalty and Mr. Richard Burton. The proceed of the sale, expected at over $300 million, will go to the Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation.
